Who is Our Enemy and How Should We Fight?
/Some Christians aren’t sure what to make of the biblical theme of spiritual warfare. Preaching on the scene in Mark 1 where Jesus casts out an unclean spirit, David made the case for why every Christian needs to pay close attention to these stories of exorcism and liberation:
Yet, we need to understand the basic elements of spiritual warfare, which are such as “Who is our enemy?” “What power or weapon do we use for this fight?” “What is the purpose of this fight?” and “What does it mean to win or lose this fight?” Without right answers to these questions, we may face critical problems. We may fight with each other, not against the enemies. We may suffer fear and powerlessness without knowing our own power and weapons. We may fight for nothing if we don’t know what we should keep or gain through the fight. Considering these, we need to understand clearly and correctly the nature of spiritual warfare that we fight.
